Chapel Restricted from Outside Visitors Until Further Notice

Revision: Thursday, March 12, 2020

Beginning Sunday, March 15, in the interest of maintaining the highest degree of safety for our patients and families and supporting national and global efforts, the Caron Chapel service will be offered only to those persons presently on Caron property for previously approved treatment services. We appreciate everyone’s understanding.

Furthermore, during the Chapel service, signage and announcements will seek to limit any personal contact to “elbow bumps” and Communion will only be offered in bread rather than bread-and-cup. Finally, any patients or staff under restriction to their specific units will be able to observe the Chapel service through the closed-circuit broadcast used also for certain lectures and other events on the Caron campus.

To be clear, alumni who were planning to visit the Caron Chapel service to receive celebration coins are asked to not visit at the present time. This announcement will be updated as circumstances continue to be monitored. We thank everyone for their understanding.
