Outpatient Treatment Programs

Caron operates several outpatient facilities in various states. Each is licensed to specifically serve unique populations in its communities. If you're considering outpatient treatment for alcohol addiction, drug addiction, or other behavioral health and/or co-occurring disorders, treatment in one of Caron's world-class outpatient programs can help. Here's a look at what you can expect in outpatient care at one of our rehab facilities.

What Is Outpatient Treatment?

Outpatient treatment is a part-time treatment program that can be participated in while a person lives at home and continues work or school. Whether or not outpatient treatment is right for a person is determined by our intake process. Outpatient treatment plans are tailored to the individual and may include individual or group therapies (or a combination of the two).

The Outpatient Admissions Process

Patients in Caron's outpatient substance abuse rehab program receive an individualized treatment plan based on our admissions process that includes a comprehensive evaluation. Patients' healthcare needs, drug and/or alcohol use-related behaviors, along with any co-occurring disorders are all taken into account. Based on this evaluation, qualified and certified therapists make treatment recommendations for the appropriate level of care each patient needs to achieve and sustain recovery. Depending on the specific needs of the individual and their loved ones, our knowledgeable therapists will recommend inpatient treatment services, mental health services, or outpatient services at one of our Caron locations.

Intensive Outpatient Treatment — What You Can Expect

Teenagers, young adults, adults, older adults, and their families can choose the appropriate outpatient program for substance abuse treatment and/or mental health services at one of our Caron locations. Each outpatient facility specializes in different types of treatment to best meet the needs of the populations and regions we serve. Upon a thorough assessment process, our experts identify the needs and develop a recommended treatment plan which may include individual and/or group therapies.

Family and Loved Ones Find Support at Regional Recovery Centers

Caron operates several regional recovery centers in major metropolitan areas along the east coast, serving alumni, families, professionals, and the recovery community. Support groups are available to offer a confidential space where family members can share with and hear from others with loved ones undergoing outpatient drug rehab, behavioral health modification, and treatment for alcohol use disorder.

Post-Treatment Care

Recovery Support Services for patients transitioning from inpatient rehab to "normal" life at home and work. Regardless of whether or not someone's inpatient care was with a Caron rehab center, our -recovery services can be utilized. Examples of post-inpatient care include: Support screenings so patients can find and access needed resources | Case management to help develop a local recovery support network | Regular family therapy meetings | Substance use disorder testing to aid in accountability | Recovery coaching and more.

Where Are Your Outpatient Services Located?

Caron Outpatient in Wyomissing

As an outpatient alcohol and drug treatment provider, we offer customized services for adolescents, adults and their families. Caron provides comprehensive drug/alcohol assessments and treatment planning, as well as primary and intensive outpatient treatment. We offer individual counseling, family counseling, codependency counseling, and gambling counseling as well as relapse programming and aftercare support groups. This outpatient treatment center is located just about an hour outside of Philadelphia in Wyomissing, PA.

Caron Atlanta Outpatient Treatment Center

As a licensed outpatient provider, we offer comprehensive drug and alcohol assessments and intensive outpatient counseling for teens, young adults and adults. We offer individual, group, and family counseling as well as support groups. Parent and family support groups give family members resources and education about the disease of addiction and managing healthy relationships. Our Recovery Support Services are established to keep people connected and thriving in their recovery. We are located on Ashwood Parkway in Atlanta, GA.

Caron Philadelphia Outpatient Treatment Center

Our outpatient services include drug and alcohol assessments; intensive outpatient counseling; individual, group, and family counseling; and support groups as well as treatment specifically designed for teens and Older Adult IOP (Intensive Outpatient Program). We are located in Plymouth Meeting on the outskirts of Philadelphia.

Encore Outpatient Services

From our location in Arlington, VA, we treat substance use and co-occurring behavioral health conditions through a trauma-informed approach that addresses underlying issues. Our continuum of services for adults and young adults includes intensive outpatient services, a partial hospitalization program, trauma-specific treatment, holistic therapies, career coaching, family education and support, and community integration. This location serves the greater Washington, D.C. area, including Maryland and Northern Virginia.
