Caron Outpatient Treatment Center - Atlanta

The leading provider of outpatient rehab in Atlanta

The Experience

The Caron Outpatient Treatment Center in Atlanta, formerly known as Solutions, is the leading licensed outpatient provider in Atlanta for the treatment of substance use and co-occurring disorders. We provide services for teens, young adults, adults and families.

Many times, the Caron Atlanta Outpatient Center is the first contact a family has when struggling with concerning drug and alcohol related issues and addiction rehab. When potential clients, concerned family members, employers or schools contact us, one of our licensed addictions counselors will conduct an assessment to determine what level of care is appropriate and begin planning an individualized continuum of care. At Caron, the family recovers along with the client.

We offer an evidence based approach to treatment that incorporates:

  • Recovery-oriented support networks
  • Motivational Interviewing
  • 12-Step Facilitation
  • Relapse Prevention
  • A long-term approach to continuing care

Caron Outpatient Treatment Center - Atlanta Key Programs

Comprehensive Drug and Alcohol Assessment & Evaluations

The comprehensive evaluation process is conducted by qualified addiction counselors to learn everything they can about the patient’s health, psychosocial history, addictive behaviors, and co-occurring disorders. Based on their findings, counselors recommend the level of care most likely to help patients achieve long-term recovery; outpatient treatment, inpatient treatment at one of Caron’s residential campuses, mental health services, or no treatment at all. Whatever the case may be, Caron professionals will help patients get connected to the care they need to heal and thrive.

Patient-Centered Individual Counseling

During one-on-one sessions, addiction counselors use the client’s evaluation and rehab plan to guide him or her through the process of exploring, verbalizing and working through problematic and addiction-related issues. The undivided attention that clients experience during individual counseling sessions equip them to achieve lasting sobriety and healing.

Group Counseling

Group Therapy sessions help clients address clinical problems through group conversations. Clients are encouraged to try new behaviors and challenge self-defeating attitudes.

Family Counseling

Family Counseling, facilitated by a licensed counselor, encourages the client’s family to identify, discuss and address issues related to the client’s addiction. Multi-family group counseling sessions are a forum for multiple families to come together to share experiences, support each other and help them understand the nature and consequences of addiction.

Teen Intervene Program

Teen Intervene is an evidence based-early intervention program for students (ages 12-19) with concerning drug & alcohol related issues. The program allows students to engage in the process of evaluating their own drug & alcohol use in a caring, non-judgmental and confidential setting that incorporates the stages of change model, motivational interviewing and cognitive-behavioral therapy.

Primary Outpatient Group (POP) for Young Adults

This program is for those who are experiencing problematic alcohol and/or drug use but do not require a higher level of care. The group meets weekly for two hours and parents are invited to participate in two sessions.

Early Recovery Aftercare Group

In the first year of recovery, teens and young adults encounter stressful and difficult situations in which they may be tempted to return to using drugs and alcohol. With the direction of the clinical team and the support of their peers, participants in this group learn to navigate their first year sober while benefitting from structure, accountability and counseling.

Intensive Outpatient Group (IOP) for Teens/ Intensive Outpatient Group (IOP) for Young Adults

Young Adults and teens participating in IOP work within a positive peer culture to address and develop coping skills, sober activities, and a recovery action plan. Sessions are held three days a week and family members are invited to attend a multi-family counseling group each week to develop a support system with other families.
