September is National Recovery Month and the Caron Treatment Centers National Alumni Leadership Council invites you to join in the celebration! Every September, this initiative celebrates people in recovery and promotes the message that prevention works, treatment is effective, and people do recover.

This year’s theme, “Join the Voices for Recovery:  Visible, Vocal, Valuable!” highlights opportunities for recovery education, support, and celebration. The theme encourages communities to: be visible by knowing the prevalence of mental and/or substance use disorders; be vocal by noticing warning signs and symptoms; and be valuable by raising awareness of the resources available to help.

Reach out to help others today by giving back in a meaningful way – directly to Caron’s Scholarship Fund for treatment. We are asking for your support of $12, $24, $48 or more in honor of Recovery Month and every step along the way. Simply enter your gift amount in the open field found at the top of the donation form honoring 12-Step recovery. Every gift matters, whether it’s one time or monthly, your gifts add up. Imagine how many individuals and families seeking treatment can be helped if we all chipped in!

What a wonderful way to celebrate your recovery or the recovery of a loved one: by helping someone else. Gifts can be made in honor, or in memory of a lost loved one, or for someone who has yet to walk through the door and take their seat among us in recovery.

Caron is proud to support National Recovery Month. For more information about National Recovery Month click here

About Caron

Caron Treatment Centers is a nationally recognized non-profit provider of alcohol and drug addiction treatment with treatment facilities in Pennsylvania and Florida. One of the oldest, largest and most respected residential treatment centers, Caron has led the nation in innovation including establishing some of the first gender and age specific treatment programs. Caron is known for excellence in teenage and young adult programs, a continuum of care for teens and adults and has worked jointly with research universities to develop cutting-edge addiction research and treatment programs. Caron provides additional support to communities through regional offices in Atlanta, Boston, New York City, Philadelphia, and Washington, D.C.

Your Gift Can Make a Difference

Caron also leads the industry in scholarship care providing more aid to families who cannot afford treatment than three of the recognized treatment centers combined. Caron not only dedicates a percentage of patient revenue to scholarship care, we are also fortunate to be able to partner with family, friends and corporate leaders to raise scholarship dollars that go directly to helping patients and their families recover from this devastating disease. Unfortunately, there are still families who cannot afford treatment. Your gift, regardless of the size, will help us begin to bridge this financial gap.

All donations to National Recovery Month are tax deductible to the full extent of the law, as no goods or services were provided in consideration of your gift. Please note that if you received an auction item or service, these items are not tax deductible because you are getting something in return for your money. Only donations above the value of the goods or services received are tax deductible.
