As one person in a family gets sober and into recovery, healing personal trauma and family-of-origin issues are critical for life long recovery. Just as important is the family therapy/support work that occurs. All of this complex and challenging work takes time and courage – but the work well-done leads to an emotional wellness of spirit in the next generation. Join Caron New York Regional Vice President Todd Whitmer as he lays out three case studies of intergenerational healing in action, including the stories of a young adult, a father, and a septuagenarian.
