In working with the adolescent population, it can be difficult to tell if troubling behaviors are “just a part of growing up” or if a deeper problem is at hand that requires clinical attention and intervention. Individuals ages 13-18 who are treated for mental health and substance use disorder require a strong foundation to support their recovery and uncover the root causes of their behaviors, followed by a long-term plan to ensure they succeed as they transition into adulthood.

This workshop will uncover specific techniques to help adolescents and their families have a successful treatment experience, as well as set the course for long-term recovery.
