Many adult Americans grew up in homes with painful family patterns, such as active addiction, serious physical or mental illness, loss, economic insecurity, moves, and more. Whether family problems were moderate or severe, eventually most otherwise high-functioning adults are at risk of falling back on ineffective coping skills, particularly when facing relationship challenges. Although we cannot change the past or the people we love, healing and recovery are possible with support and guidance. Experiential therapy has been shown to reduce shame, improve self-esteem, and provide tools for healthier relationships.
The Breakthrough one-day experiential workshop offers a beginning experience in understanding the effects of growing up in a painful family system and provides a proven path toward becoming the authentic, secure and self-aware adult you are meant to be. It is open to Breakthrough alumni and individuals who are interested in exploring relational patterns.
Please NOTE: This workshop is not appropriate for those who might be experiencing debilitating emotional symptoms.
