During our darkest times, it often feels like we are alone.  This is especially true for families trying to cope with addiction.  There may be many people who care, but there are not many who truly understand how addiction affects families.  This is just one way in which addiction causes isolation.  Another is how it erodes relationships and destroys intimacy.  Unfortunately, the list goes on and on…

In early recovery, families begin to see that they are not alone – others have been where they are.  By asking for help, the first connections to others are formed.  As families learn healthier coping skills and build healthy support systems, they are also creating new relationships.  This leads to more and more connections.  Families begin to heal.

The theme for the 2018 Alumni Reunion is Better Together.  How fantastic is that?  In recovery, we get better together.  However, life is better together.  Enjoying time with family and friends is one of the amazing gifts of recovery.

Please join us on June 23 at the Caron Alumni Reunion.  It is a great opportunity for the entire family to have fun, see old friends and make a few new ones!   The highlights of the day include:
•    Gratitude Meeting
•    Memorial Service
•    Alumni Awards
•    Games for the Entire Family
•    Face Painting
•    Great Food

We look forward to seeing you because we are BETTER TOGETHER!
