William “Bill” Parfitt is executive vice president and chief financial officer for Caron Treatment Centers. Bill oversees and manages the day-to-day operations of the Finance, Human Resources, Information Management Systems, and Facility Support Operations Departments. As a member of the executive leadership team, he develops strategic initiatives that help position Caron for future growth and ongoing success as a healthcare and addiction leader. Bill also serves a critical role in supporting Caron’s education, prevention, and research initiatives to address more medically complex patients due to the surge in compromised older adults and the opioid crisis.
Prior to joining Caron, Bill held positions as chief executive officer for COMHAR, Inc., a multi-site behavioral health and intellectual disabilities services provider; executive vice president and chief financial officer of Cardone Industries, Inc., a $1.2B multi-national auto parts re-manufacturing organization with over 5,000 employees; and vice president of finance and chief executive officer for Wordsworth, a large regional provider of behavioral health, education, and child welfare services.
Bill received his degree in accounting from Pennsylvania State University and is also a certified public accountant. He is a member of the American Institute of CPAs and the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants and has served on various boards including the Pennsylvania Department of Human Services’ North Philadelphia Health Enterprise Zone workgroup and Residential Treatment Regulations workgroup, the Rehabilitation Community Providers Association of Pennsylvania, and the Community Behavioral Healthcare Network of Pennsylvania.
