Tara Handron is the Regional Vice President in the greater Washington, DC area for
Caron Treatment Centers. Ms. Handron’s areas of responsibility include fundraising,
marketing, community outreach, business development, board management, and
alumni relations. Ms. Handron’s mission in the greater DC area is to educate people
about addiction, inform people about resources for treating addiction and other related
disorders, and raise funds to help more families access top quality treatment at Caron.
Ms. Handron holds a BFA in Drama from New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts
and an MA in Communication, Culture & Technology from Georgetown University. She
also performs regularly a one-woman show about alcoholism and recovery called Drunk
with Hope in Chicago based on her master’s thesis.
