Dr. Richard Wilson is a family medicine physician currently completing his fellowship in addiction medicine with Caron. He completed a residency in family medicine at Tower Health’s Reading Hospital. His clinical interests include full spectrum family medicine and the treatment of co-occurring substance use and chronic pain disorders.
Dr. Wilson is a member of the American Medical Association, American Academy of Family Physicians, Pennsylvania Academy of Family Physicians, Pennsylvania Medical Society, Berks County Medical Society, the American Society of Addiction Medicine, and the Pennsylvania Society of Addiction Medicine.
Born in New Jersey and raised in North Carolina, Dr. Wilson received his undergraduate degree at Appalachian State University and his medical education from The Brody School of Medicine at East Carolina University.
