Rebekah Tchouta is a Licensed Master of Social Worker (LMSW) with experience in the mental health field.
Rebekah has worked with teens at a psychiatric residential treatment facility in Atlanta, GA providing individual therapy, family therapy, group therapy and crisis intervention. Rebekah conducts therapy through a Dialectical Behavior Therapy lens and incorporates Motivational Interviewing to aid in the client identifying their motivation towards change and assisting them in maintaining their progress. Dialectical Behavior Therapy has been proven to be effective in substance abuse treatment, targeting the client’s emotion dysregulation leading to impulsivity, exploring coping strategies to manage crisis situations and navigating conflictual interpersonal relationships. Rebekah is passionate about aiding clients and families feel empowered to work towards lasting change.
She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Humanities from Milligan College, Tennessee and earned her Master of Social Work degree from Kennesaw State University specializing in Mental Health.
