Kris Bashore oversees Marketing, Branding, Public Relations, Business Development and Admissions as well as the organization’s comprehensive Strategic Planning process. She has led the current extensive Branding campaign which has contributed to raising Caron’s awareness and revenue in key markets. Under her leadership, a Thought Leadership initiative was created to further increase Caron’s national presence and recognized expertise in Behavioral Healthcare. She has actively worked to incorporate a concierge level of service for patients and their families as they engage the Caron continuum of programs and services.
Since joining Caron in 2000, Kris has overseen many areas of Caron including Human Resources, Training, Quality, Finance, etc… She oversaw the expansion of staff from 265 to over 750 employees. During her tenure as Chief Human Resource Officer, Caron’s retention rate dramatically improved by more than 40 percent as well as implementing the “Caron College” masters, bachelor and associate level programs that foster staff development by making university degree programs accessible on campus.
Additionally, Kris also led The Women’s Symposium, a successful joint conference on women and addiction organized by Caron and The Betty Ford Center.
Prior to joining Caron, Kris held a Human Resources senior management position at a Pharmaceutical Development company in Allentown. She started her career at Meridian Bank. She holds a Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) Human Resource certification from The Society of Human Resource Management and a Bachelor’s Degree from East Stroudsburg University, majoring in Economics.
