Josephine is a primary therapist at Caron Renaissance where she facilitates individual, family and group therapy sessions while also developing treatment plans to identify and address the individual strengths and weaknesses of patients. Josephine is a firm believer in treating the patient from a systems-based perspective, embodying the philosophy that "the patient is the family, and the family is the patient". Josephine has received her ICGC-II certification as well as certification in treating compulsive shopping, stealing, spending and hoarding, to assist in facilitating treatment to patients who present with addiction interaction disorder.
Prior to joining the clinical team at Caron Renaissance, Josephine worked as a lead therapist at a women's treatment facility in South Florida, overseeing the clinical services available to patients with co-occurring disorders receiving intensive outpatient treatment. She also has worked in various levels of care treating patients with dual diagnosis needs.
Josephine holds a Bachelors and Masters Degree in Social Work from Florida Atlantic University.
