Dr. Randal Mullings is driven in his work by a deep-seated passion for helping the families and friends of those struggling with addiction. Before he entered the addiction treatment field, Dr. Mullings worked at various community mental health centers, the Broward County School Board, and in the family court system. During his time in these settings, he observed firsthand the impact of substance abuse on both the individual and family members.
His educational background and keen understanding of family systems provides the experience and expertise he employs in his work with clients and the family service staff he oversees.
Since coming to Caron in 2010, Dr. Mullings has been a regular contributor to Caron’s blog, created and overseen tailor-made programs suited for each family system, and restructured existing family services to ensure that every family member receives the support they need.
Dr. Mullings is a licensed mental health counselor. He holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology, a master’s degree in mental health counseling, and a doctoral degree in marriage and family therapy.
