David Adamusko is a therapist at Caron’s Breakthrough Program. He has been with Caron since
2013 where he worked in the Young Adult Family Education Program.
Before his time at Caron he worked at a drug treatment center in Utah in various positions the
last one being as a primary therapist. He also has been in private practice working with couples.
He has received training in the field of Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy and is a certified
clinical trauma therapist. He also is a Marriage and Family Therapist and has received extensive
training in the areas of Psychodrama and Attachment based therapy modalities. In 2016, Dave will be certified in Internal Family Systems, Level One and will be presenting on that topic at a national conference. David enjoys
working with couples and families and believes that within these relationships a powerful and
lasting healing can occur.
He graduated from Temple University with a bachelor degree in Psychology and received a
master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Brigham Young University.
