Dr. Christina Ferrari is a board-certified family physician currently completing her fellowship in addiction medicine with Caron.
She completed her family medicine residency training at UPMC St. Margaret in Pittsburgh with an area of concentration in addiction medicine. While a resident at St. Margaret’s, she helped develop an addiction medicine curriculum to be instituted in future residency training.
She obtained her Doctor of Medicine degree from Drexel University College of Medicine and her Bachelor of Science degree in biology and biotechnology from Worcester Polytechnic Institute.
Dr. Ferrari has wanted to be a doctor since the age of 13, when her father allowed her to remove his stitches (not medically advisable). Her interests include underserved care and women’s health.
