Ms. Knepper is the Vice President of Clinical Services for Caron Treatment Services located in Wernersville, Pennsylvania. In her role, Ms. Knepper has clinical and administrative oversight of the Adult Men’s and Women’s Continuum, Outpatient Treatment programs in Pennsylvania and Atlanta, Family Services, My First Year of Recovery, Research, and the Quality department. She has worked extensively in the field of behavioral health for the past 33 years and is a Master’s level Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), a Board-Certified Art Therapist (ATR-BC), a Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CAADC), a Certified Sex Addiction Therapist/Supervisor (CSAT-S) and a Certified Multiple Addictions Therapist (CMAT). Ms Knepper is also a professionally trained DBT therapist.
Ms Knepper has presented at numerous national and international conferences. Her presentation topics include Women and Addiction, Sexual Addiction and The Chemically Dependent Population, Adolescent Self-Injury, Understanding Co-Occurring Disorders, Benefits of Art Therapy when working with a Substance Abuse Population, The Importance of a Continuum of Care, Family Systems approach to Addiction Treatment and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) with adults, teens and families.
Ms. Knepper has had academic appointments as adjunct faculty at Marywood University and Kutztown University. She has proctored clinical internships affiliated with Penn State University, Drexel/Hahneman University, Alvernia University, Villanova University and George Washington University. She has co-authored peer reviewed research in the Journal of Substance Abuse Treatment, The Journal of Treatment and Prevention: Sexual Addiction and Compulsivity and numerous articles for trade magazines.
