Dr. Beth DeRicco works with Caron Treatment Centers overseeing higher education outreach.
Her current focus is to engage each campus in a process that will help address their individual
needs and is informed by the experience of others in the field and the research on effective
Dr. DeRicco previously worked at the U.S. Department of Education’s Higher Education Center
where she was Associate Center Director. She has also worked with professional organizations,
such as Student Affairs Administrators in Higher Education (NASPA), and has consulted with
colleges and universities across the country.
Dr. DeRicco’s recent and ongoing projects include: NASPA Alcohol Prevention Conference 2016
Planning Committee; Texas Focus on Recovery for Higher Education, a statewide and state
mandated subcommittee to Health and Human Services; Participation in the North American
Intra-fraternity Conference President’s Commission on Alcohol.
