Keynote Address: Paul Hokemeyer, JD, PhD(c)
"Making Peace With the Family You Have and Creating the Family You Want"
As human beings, we live in relationship with ourselves and others. For some, these relationships make us whole, fill us with joy and enable us to realize our full potential in the world. For others, these relationships cause us great pain and keep us trapped in self destructive behaviors. Central to this process is the impact our family origin and our family of choice has on our development and growth. In this solution focused presentation, Paul will discuss the ways in which we can overcome the limits of past experiences and embrace relationships rich in love, dignity, and grace.
"Getting Out of Your Own Way: Un-tether your Angst - Connect to your Joy!"
Wendy Caplan, LMSW
This workshop is designed to help individuals become "un-tethered" from their angst and self criticism by suggesting new perceptions. Whether there is perpetual self-blame, unwillingness to forgive self or others, or "an addiction to despair," Wendy will offer suggestions and tools to help those who are willing to move out of their own way.
"Worthiness is Not About the Money"
Marilyn Hawn, CAC, ICADC, CSAT, CET
Your checkbook is not the only thing that needs to be balanced! In this workshop you will learn the importance of living in the moment through emotional and spiritual balance, believing you are worthy of prosperity in all areas of your life. Learn to open up to health, happiness, love and yes, money.
"Your Best Self Revealed: Harnessing Your Inner Strength and Reconnecting With What Makes You Special"
Kathleen Murphy, MA, LPC
You, as much as anyone, are worthy of your own love and compassion. In this workshop, we will use the recovery concept of unity to create an environment in which you can make a decision to invest in your inherent worth and value-while staying connected with those you love! You will have an opportunity to remember the truth of your preciousness-while practicing tools that nourish and enrich your life and relationships.
Rhythm & Recovery Workshops
Mark Seaman created the Rhythm & RecoveryTM program in 1993. Since then, he has delighted and mesmerized thousands with high energy group drumming and global sound meditation. His work at Caron has gained national media attention. He and his wife, Sandy, own and operate Earth Rhythms, a global percussion and bead marketplace, located in an art gallery space in West Reading, PA.
