Tribute Gifts

Caron has numerous opportunities for donors to pay tribute to a loved one or friend. A beautiful Caron note card will be sent to families notifying them that a gift has been made in their honor or in memory of a loved one. The following is a list of various opportunities to recognize one’s years in recovery or to recognize someone who is special to you.

Honor or memorialize someone today by making an online tribute gift.

Serenity Garden Brick Campaign

Reminiscent of the days when our founders Dick and Catherine Caron lived on the grounds, patients enjoyed the beautiful gardens lovingly planted and cared for by Catherine. The Caron Serenity Garden serves as a warm and welcoming place where Caron alumni, family and friends can quietly reflect on their lives and their relationships with loved ones. The garden is a reminder of the beauty, peace and miracles that can be found in a life of recovery, a life free from alcohol and drugs. For a charitable contribution of $250, you can engrave a brick with a special message. The proceeds from this campaign benefit patient scholarships. These funds are available to individuals and families who do not have the adequate financial resources for treatment.

Honor someone today by buying a brick.

Take Your Seat Campaign

Anyone who has attended Sunday Chapel services with Father Bill and Reverend Jack on our main campus knows that words cannot begin to describe the experience. The sharing that takes place, the amends that are made to family and friends, and the steps that are worked on during the service can be one of the most joyful and emotional experiences. Celebrate this special service by naming a seat in honor of a loved one or in memory of a special friend. For a charitable contribution of $1,000, a brass plaque will be permanently attached to a seat.

Campus Reflection Bench

Time and again, we hear from families how special it is to be on Caron’s main campus. There is something serenely beautiful about the campus and families often comment about the energy they feel when they visit. Capture that feeling for a loved one or a special friend by dedicating a bench in their honor or memory. These benches, placed throughout Caron’s main campus, offer an opportunity for patients and family members to reflect on the recovery process and for alumni to savor each day they are celebrating anew. For a charitable contribution of $2,500, a brass plaque with three lines will be permanently attached to a bench on campus. A list of current bench locations is available upon request.

Dedicating a Tree

There is something said about a tribute that is alive and growing. Whether in memory of a loved one or in honor of one’s continued growth in recovery, dedicating a tree on Caron’s main campus is truly a unique and special way to memorialize a loved one’s journey. For a charitable contribution of $5,000, a tree can be selected in consultation with Caron’s staff and planted on our main campus. Friends and family can be invited for the dedication and a marker will be placed at the base of the tree. Should something ever happen to the tree, Caron will replace it free of charge.
