Research

Our research team, led by Erin Deneke, Ph.D., is continuously studying the effectiveness of Caron's treatment programs through in-house studies of our alumni and assessing their recovery outcomes.  Through these studies, Caron's clinical staff is able to make innovative changes to our programs to ensure we are providing cutting edge treatment in the field of addictions.

In addition, Caron is committed to improving treatment outcomes for adolescents, young adults and adults.  Our research department is currently conducting a study in partnership with the University of Pennsylvania to achieve outcomes-based research.  Other current research at Caron includes studies in recovery- based spirituality, alcohol and drug cravings and impaired women professionals.

Caron is committed to achieving a leadership role in providing cutting edge research to increase medical and community recognition of addiction as a disease.   In order to reach this important goal of research and treatment advances, funding is a necessity.
