Adolescent Family Education

During the course of the adolescent's stay in treatment, it is critical for parents and other (appropriate) family members to attend Caron's Family Education Program. During the program, families are given information about the disease concept of addiction, 12-Step programs, recovery tools, issues relating to relapse, medications and mental health, continuing care plans and other topics crucial for family recovery efforts. Family involvement in treatment is vital for an adolescent's long-term recovery chances.

Discounted rooms are available near Caron for family members participating in the Adolescent Family Education Program (please see the information below).
