Caron Fellowship Groups are designed to support ongoing recovery and provide an opportunity to bond with fellow alumni, family, and friends. Caron alumni meet using an agreed upon meeting format. The Alumni Relations Department maintains a list of Fellowship Groups and communicates this information to other alumni and "new graduates" through presentations, newsletters, and the Caron website. Everyone is welcome to attend.
A Caron Chapter Group is a "working committee". The focus is to plan activities and events for alumni and friends in their local community. They may also do other service such as being a contact for new alumni, fundraising for patient scholarships or being an advocate for recovery. Alumni & friends chapters also promote Caron's programs and support alumni recovery by staying involved, helping others and "giving back". Caron provides support for chapter groups by having a staff member participate in the meetings, providing speakers for events and coordinating mailings for promotion of events.
Alumni, family, and friends are invited to attend both Fellowship and Chapter Groups.
