Named Scholarship Funds
Caron continues to grow and develop thanks to the generous support of alumni and friends. Caron’s Endowment creates a solid foundation for the future of recovery. Studies have shown that addiction is a family disease that can be passed from one generation to the next. Caron’s Endowment will ensure that Caron's lifesaving treatment will be available for our children and grandchildren should they need it.
Caron’s endowment is a perpetual fund which generates a predictable, reliable income stream that guarantees our long-term financial health and provides financial assistance for individuals and families in need. The endowment also helps to grow and nurture the organization and ensure that projects can be funded regardless of what future economies hold.
As part of our endowment program, Caron provides the opportunity for individuals and groups to create named endowed scholarship funds in honor or memory of an individual or family. Caron staff works closely with the families to determine the program and/or region that the endowed fund will support. It has been a wonderful opportunity for families to honor and recognize a family member's recovery and is also a way to memorialize an individual who lost their struggle to this chronic disease. For more information or to create an a named endowed scholarship fund, please contact Susan Borelli at sborelli@caron.org or 610-568-4768.
The following endowed scholarship funds are legacies that are impacting lives today and will continue to do so in the future. Donations can be made to a specific fund by accessing our online donation form and selecting "named scholarship fund" where it asks which type of donation you'd like to make. You will be able to choose to have your donation go to one of our existing funds. Your gift will help to increase the number of scholarships these funds generate each year.
