Assessment Programs

Chemical dependency is a chronic, progressive and treatable disease with signs, symptoms and complications that progress through early, mid and late stages.

In its early stage, chemical dependency is frequently difficult to identify.  Many families are unsure of their loved one’s diagnosis and corresponding treatment needs.

Caron’s assessment programs are intensive, residential programs typically over the course of 5-10 days which are designed to rule in or out a diagnosis of chemical dependency.  At the conclusion of the assessment, Caron’s assessment team will meet with the patient and their family/loved ones, as well as other providers (interventionists, psychologists, etc) to review the findings of the assessment and recommendations for next steps.  Caron’s assessment team will also aid in the development of a customized treatment plan if a chemical dependency diagnosis is established.
