Sue Hendrickson, Senior Director of Alumni Relations and Annual Giving
Sue Hendrickson gives direct supervision to the Alumni Relations staff and oversees the department’s operations. She is the editor-in-chief of the bi-annual Caron Chatter Newsletter which circulates to 27,000 active alumni, family and friends. Sue provides leadership and vision through strategic planning, organization and direction as the Alumni Relations Department continues to grow and serve Caron alumni with the spirit of our Caron culture.
Bike McDonough, Adult Alumni Coordinator
Bike McDonough, the newest addition to the Alumni Relations team, is dedicated to connecting with the Caron Adult Alumni within the Greater Mid-Atlantic Region. Her support and leadership of the Caron Fellowship Groups and Breakthrough at Caron Support Groups are imperative to the connectivity of the alumni. Continuing the journey of Recovery for Life, alumni can contact Bike if they are interested in starting a new support group in their area or are in need of finding the Caron connection. Joi Honer, Youth and Parent Alumni Coordinator
Joi Honer provides a commitment to Recovery for Life and the clinical experience of working with youth and parents to the Alumni Relations Department. Her compassion, leadership and dedication to families are the backbone of the Parent Support Groups. The success of these groups and her connection with young alumni and parents give Caron the ability to provide ongoing support. Karen Curtin, New York Regional Alumni Coordinator
Karen Curtin manages and provides support to the alumni events and groups in the Greater New York Region. Her passion for recovery combined with her charismatic flair is a perfect fit for the New York alumni. She connects with adults, families and youth seamlessly and effortlessly and helps them continue their journey of recovery by introducing them to the support and fellowships they need. Jamie Demmi, Event Coordinator
Jamie Demmi is the creative mind behind the alumni events. She coordinates plans and manages an ever growing number of events, workshops, and retreats. Every year Caron provides alumni with the utmost quality of activities and experiences to enhance their recovery. Jamie’s dedication and knowledge of the Caron culture is what enables her to provide the highest level of customer service and memorable, successful events.
Esther Bird, Alumni Administrator
Esther Bird provides support to the Alumni Relations team and is responsible for administering ongoing day-to-day processes for the department. She oversees the 12-Step Recovery Contact System and supports the Young Adult Recovery Network in the Philadelphia Region. Esther is committed to supporting alumni, family and friends wherever possible in their journey of recovery.
